Chianti Region Wine-Tasting and Dinner Half-Day Trip from Florence

Wine-tasting, scenic drives through magnificent Tuscan landscapes and a traditional dinner in Chanti - is there a better way to spend the afternoon in Tuscany? The Tuscan region of Chianti is universally acclaimed for its classic wines and natural beauty.

You'll discover a magical world of woods alternating with vines and olive trees, Romanesque churches, medieval farmhouses, Renaissance villas and castles. End your day with a Tuscan dinner, and if you're feeling extra hungry -- upgrade and enjoy a Florentine steak!

On your afternoon tour you'll visit an ancient Tuscan town and one of Chianti's most renowned castle-farm wine-growing estates. Here, you'll receive insights into the local wine-growing traditions and sample three prestigious wines: Chianti Classico, Chianti Reserve and white wine. The wines are accompanied by local traditional snacks.

You will end the day with a traditional Tuscan dinner (accompanied by excellent Chianti wine) in the magical atmosphere of an old village among the Tuscan hills. Dinner will be held in the open (weather permitting), so please wear suitable clothing. If you're keen to enjoy the most famous Tuscan meat dish of all, then upgrade and enjoy Bistecca alla Fiorentina! This T-Bone Florentine steak is rich, flavorsome, and always served rare, simply dressed with little more than olive oil, rosemary and salt.

The tours are carried out in different areas of the Chianti region, and the trip from Florence to Chianti is approximately 40 minutes each way.
